It is characterized by a high content of unsaturated fats, including polyunsaturated fats, which include omega-6 fatty acids. Linoleic acid (LA) is an omega-6 fatty acid, which helps maintain healthy blood cholesterol levels. Beneficial effects are obtained with a daily intake of 10 g of LA.
